calculate the molar concentration of [OH-] given that [H3O+] to be 7.7 * 10 ^ -6 ? I am having trouble understanding how to figure this out. Any help?

There are several ways, but the easiest is knowing that the product of their concentrations equals \(1.0*10^{-14}\) (i guess the units are \(M^2\), and this is only at 25 celsius). to make it clearer: \([H_3O^+]*[OH^-]=1.0*10^{-14}\)

So I would just divide 1.0 * 10 ^ 14 by the H30+ to get the answer?

yep, but it's \(\large \sf \color{red}{-}14\)
