In the first example with the letters we can said A + B -> C we can be even more specific about the reaction and said how much of each component will react and how much we will obtain after the reaction and include this coefficients in the chemical equation 2A + 3B -> 2C all the substance that are at the LEFT of the arrow are called the REACTANTS of the reaction and the ones at the RIGHT are the PRODUCTS of the reaction
