All you have to do is input the number in for x and solve. EX: -2(-2)^4 PEMDAS says we solve exponents first, so -2^4 is 16 -2(16)=-32 You do this with all of them, and then graph them. Remember, the equation of a line is y=mx+b m=slope b=y intecept

In order to solve for m and b, you have to use a different formula. y1-y2=m(x1-x2) So, I gave you one set. Can you do what I did and get a second set of points?

Ok, the 4 is an exponent. Which is kind of multipication, but in a different way. Instead of 1(4) it is actually 1x1x1x1. 1 times anything is the other number, or in this case 1x1=1.

Now that you know that, do the remaining 0, 1 and 2 and tell me your answers. I will check them for you, and then we can go over how to graph the numbers.

i multiplyed it all of those numbers by the 2...like the two and waht is inisde the perenthases , and then I took that number... and x4 as in, 16 x 16 x 16 x16

It is a parabella (I dont know how to spell it, sorry), so it will form an upside down U.

On the x and y coordinates we just went over, you want to always follow PEMDAS. Exponents come before multiplication. Im going to assume C means what kind of graph it is, which is a parabella. Basically a parabella is a graph that has 2 xs for each y, like is shown in this graph. Do you understand what we did or do you have more questions?
