I'm having trouble solving this 2x^2 - 8x = -7 So far I have, 2x^2 - 8x + 7 = 0 Then I plug into the quadratic formula for - 8 +- sqrt{-8^2 - 4(2)(7)}/2(2) 8 +- sqrt{8}/4

Simplify? Just divide the numerator and denominator by 2. Notice that \(\sqrt8\) is \(2\sqrt2\)
