Fantasy question If tomo when i wake up , everything was a 1000 times larger (every dimension of every single thing including the size of the most fundamental particles we know, super strings or whatever) Would we ever be able to tell the difference? Or is that a non - sense question cause everything is relative, so absolute growth like that makes no sense?

nothing would change if everything was 1000 times larger then that would mean u to so nothing would appear to change but it did

you cant it a trick question i think...cuz if everything is bigger including u then we cant tell what happend also the earth would grow so nothing would be different in our eyes but really there is but we cant tell what

I've wondered the same thing regarding time - if everything stopped for a million years, we would never know. But then, to say that absolutely everything stopped is probably meaningless.

if you do not have any reference of length or time then everything will be meaningless on length and time.. if you are moving 0,86c, you see the things shrink half of original size.. what if all things goes to same speed ? we need reference, there is one thing which is absolute is spacetime..

Wouldn't we see it in the fundamental constants like that of gravity ,G? Mass would not change so the change in distance would have to be absorbed by G.

@gleem Why wouldn't mass change?! Since everything is increasing (including the very fundamental stuff that make up our world) wouldn't even the mass increase by the same scale?! I know that would require large energy input, but its just a thought
