describe what happened when Ag+ combined with Na2CO3. What does this indicat?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2Ag^+(aq) + CO3^2-(aq) --> Ag2CO3(s). A precipitate of silver carbonate (Ag2CO3) will form. What happens is the silver ion (Ag^+) is soluble in solution as is the sodium ion (Na^+) and the carbonate anion (CO3^2-). It will take 2 silver ions to react with 1 carbonate. This results in the formation of the insoluble silver carbonate, which appears as a precipitate.
