OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@Abhisar

OpenStudy (abhisar):

All ryt.....let's take an example. Suppose you want to convert 36 grams of water into moles. ryt ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

ok

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Now, \(\sf No.~of~moles= \huge \frac{Given~mass~in~grams}{Molar~mass}\)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Molar mass of water is ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

18.01528

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Correct ! We can round it as 18 for easy calculation.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

ok so 36 grams of water would be 2 moles?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Now simply plug in the values \(\sf Moles=\large \frac{36}{18}=2\)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Got it ?

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

yes i have to convert .661 grams to mole so it would be .661/18=.03672

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes, i have assumed that your calculation is correct.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

Thank you so much! \(\huge\cal\color{#b000ff}{Congrats~on~becoming~a~mod!}\)
