How many protons and electrons are each contained in an atom of element number 44?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The element with atomic number 44 would be Ru, Ruthenium. The atomic number equals the amount of protons in an atom (so 44). It also equals the charge number, so there would be 44 electrons as well. If you wanted to find neutrons, you would subtract the protons from the atomic mass (so 101.1-44 = about 57).
