OpenStudy (anonymous):

What's the expression?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2i/3-4i @rosho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2i/(3-4i)??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i think i cant quite type it on here right @rosho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, so what you need to do is to multiply the top and bottom like this: (3+4i) 2i(3+4i)/(3-4i)(3+4i) 6i+8(i^2)/(9-16(i^2) 6i-8/(9+16)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get it?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

what @rosho did was multiply top/bottom by conjugate to get rid of imaginary number in denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but wouldnt my answer be like -8+6i?/-7 or 25 @rosho @dumbcow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i=sqrt(-1) i^2=-1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh okkay thankss ! @rosho
