@JFraser , I have a question about "Feasible synthesis" paired with a set of balanced equations and a value for each equation's standard free energy formation, but I have no clue what it means by "feasible."

OpenStudy (mendicant_bias):

OH

OpenStudy (jfraser):

without specifics, it probably just means "reasonable". if they want you to use the \(\Delta G\) values to build a reaction out of smaller reactions, the most feasible is probably the simplest series of steps

OpenStudy (mendicant_bias):

The way they put the problem is an obtuse way to talk about it IMO, but I guess-yeah, which delta G is favorable/whether a reaction is spontaneous or not? \[\triangle G^{\circ}<0, \rm \ spontaneous. \]\[\triangle G^{\circ}>0, \rm \ nonspontaneous.\]\[\triangle G^{\circ}=0, \ \rm Reaction\ is\ at\ equilibrium. \]

OpenStudy (mendicant_bias):

Alright, got it, it was that. Thank you!
