Solving for m?
First start by subtracting -14 from both sides \(\sf \frac{2}{12} - 14\) = \(\frac{9}{12}m\)
What do you get on te left hand side?
the easiest way would probably to multiply both sides by 12 \[12(\frac{ 2 }{ 12 })=14+\frac{ 9 }{ 12 }m\]
You are only multiplying one side by 12 there.

subtract both sides by 168 and divide by 9.\[-166=9m\] \[m=-\frac{ 166 }{ 9 }\]
then just simplify
