\[4*\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^{i-1}\] from i=1 to 3 so replacing i with 1, 2, 3 \([4*\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^{1-1}\)]+\([4*\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^{2-1}\)]+\([4*\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }^{3-1}\)]=answer
