Hello: I'd suggest that the best thing is for you to know when the *singular* form and when the *plural* form are being used. In Spanish, the *singular* takes no special ending. But the *plural* takes *-s* as an ending. This works for both nouns (e.g. "casa" [house]) and adjectives (e.g. "bonita" [beautiful]). So, for example: *Singular* (i.e. only ONE) - - una casa *bonita* (in English = one beautiful house) *Plural* (i.e. TWO or more) - - doS casaS *bonitaS* (= two beautiful houses) The plural does take an -s, doesn't it? Now, coming back to your question: is "Juan" singular or plural...? Yes! It's singular, because it's only ONE person. And what about the adjective that goes with it? Does it take and ending or not...? Hope this helps! May God bless
