How do you manipulate the 1/2 cell potentials to get the cell voltage?

I wouldn't know

First of all, given two half reactions, you have to check if the reactants side of one reaction has electrons on it and the other one has electrons on the products side (opposite), like it is an attempt to cancel electron to make them react. Then you simply combine the reactions. But before you combine, you were suppose to balance the electron from both reaction, so that they will be equal but for this case it is okay. Both reactions have 2 electrons. You simply add the potentials, 1.36+(-0.25)= 1.1
