To find the inverse of f(x)=ln(x+4). I switched the x's and y's then subtracted four, then I don't know what to do next

nope write in exponential form first
\[x=\ln(y+4)\iff e^x=y+4\]
***I switched the x's and y's then subtracted four, then I don't know what to do next*** if you have ln(x+4), the x+4 is "inside" the ln. You can't "get at it" without first undoing the ln. to undo the ln, make each side the exponent of base e as satellite shows
after the ln is gone, you can add -4 to both sides, to get y by itself.
