Any help is greatly appreciated. A lawnmower engine running for 20 min does 4,560,000 J of work. What is the power output of the engine? (Power: P = W/t) 3800 W 228,000 W 91,200,000 W 547,200,000 W

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

pease you have to divide work by time, so: \[P=\frac{ W }{ t }=\frac{ 4,560,000 }{ 20*60 }=3,600 Watts\] because we have to measure time in sec, and 20 mins=20*60=1,200 sec

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

oops sorry =38,000 watts

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

sorry: P=3,800 Watts

Hey thanks a lot i forgot that i had to use seonds!

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

I've made some typing errors

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

\[watts=\frac{ joules }{ seconds }\]

Your good, i saw the answer so thank you :)
