In an astronomical telescope the focal length of the objective and the eye piece are 100 cm and 5 cm respectively. If the telescope is focused on a scale 2m from the objective the final image is formed at 25 cm from the eye . The magnitude of magnification will be

Actually , I just thought to plug in the values of fo anf fe in the magnification formula : m=fo/fe , but answer was obviously not matching .

That only works under lot of assumptions. here you have to draw and calculate the magnification, by getting your hands dirty :P
