Find the inner product for (3,5) (4,-2)and state whether the vectors are perpendicular. a. 1; no c. 2; no b. 1; yes d. 2; yes

OpenStudy (surry99):

The inner product is just the dot product. Do you know how to take the dot product of these two vectors?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope @surry99

OpenStudy (surry99):

u = (u1, u2) = (3,5) v = (v1, v2) = (4, -2) then the dot product is: u.v = u1*v1 + u2* v2 for the vectors to be perpendicular, u.v must equal zero
