Aluminum chloride and cesium undergo a single replacement reaction. What is the correct chemical equation for this reaction? AlCl3 + 3Cs -> No Reaction AlCl2 + 2Cs -> 2CsCl + Al AlCl3 + 3Cs -> 3CsCl + Al 2AlCl3 + 6Cs -> 2AlCs3 + 3Cl2

why doesn't anyone help lol

Well since you already know that you have a single replacement reaction what answer could you cancel out first?

First check whether Cs is more active than Al, if it does, then it can replace Al in the reaction. If it is, then a reaction will occur... if it is not, then there will be no reaction. Single displacement concept: AB + C -> CB +A, if C is more reactive than A so which one do you think it is?
