Hmm, what do you think?
It is a model that describes subatomic particles and atoms as waves. Schrodinger applied a mathematical model of the wave/particle nature of matter to hydrogen. Solutions to the Schrodinger equation determine the energies an electron can have and how likely it is to find the electron in various locations.
Anytime you are dealing with quantum theory, you're discussing particles as waves from an applied mathematical perspective and the path it takes and where it canbe found at some point. That is all you need to know. Do not worry about schrodinger equation. That is far beyond the scope of your chemistry course at this time.
