HELP, please! I have no idea how to begin this. I have to plot a graph with these values: Y axis: 64, 55.7,48.1,40,29.5 and 21.3 x axis: 2.53, 2.25, 1.93, 1.59, 4.93 and 0.86. What scale should I use? I really don't understand how to use these values especially the ones that are supposed to go on the x axis.
how r u doing so far
I tried figuring it out but the values for the Y axis messed me up. Those values were measured using a metre rule and are in centimetres
How about letting every change of 1 on the X axis be a change of 5 on the Y axis?
Would that work?
so, what would the range be for the Y axis? :l
so I'm breaking the scale?
Are you drawing on squared paper or something?
yes
The range of the Y axis is the values that the Y axis have.
You don't need to let a single square be a change of 1, you can have different scales on both axes
I did not get through with the scale you suggested.
@mathslover
What scales depend on what is practical for you. How exact can you be, how much space do you have etc..
I see. okay. I'll try it out. Thanks.
