.
does the question tell you what xenon is bonding to???
It's a nonbonding atomic bond.
It just says Xe(s).
It is a monatomic molecular substance. None of the other choices are reasonable.
I don't see how any of the answer choices fit what Xe(s) actually is.
Hmmm well it can be metallic. Xenon is unique for being the first noble gas element to be synthesized into a compound. http://chemwiki.ucdavis.edu/Inorganic_Chemistry/Descriptive_Chemistry/p-Block_Elements/Group_18%3A_The_Noble_Gases/Chemistry_of_Xenon
Hello, @Technodynamic Do you still need help?
Yeah I'm confused about what Xe(s) is. Lol. I read the book, but It only says its a nonbonding atomic solid. I'm clueless of how to classify it. I researched many articles online to learn more about this particular solid, but it doesn't explain which one of the choices are of a Xe(s). My teacher loves picking tricky questions. Lol
