Sec = 1/cos
arccos(-1) = pi
1/pi?
Not 1/pi but pi

\[ \text{arcsec}(-1) = x\implies \sec(x)=-1 \implies \cos(x) = -1\implies x=\pi+2\pi n \]
Really? sec(x) = -1 where cos(x) = -1?
However to domain of \(\text{arcsec}\) is \([0,\pi]\)
So the only valid solution I guess is \(x=\pi\).
I meant to say image, not domain, but anyway.

\[ \sec(x) = -1\implies \cos(x)\sec(x) = -\cos(x) \implies 1=-\cos(x) \implies \cos(x)=-1 \]
Your formatting goes off the screen for me after 1 = -cos(x) -> cos(x) =...
Also I am doing this problem and I'm not getting the correct multiple choice answer I get 16.17 |dw:1421977332656:dw|
x = 12*cos(51)
what did you calculate?
