Okay, slope is: \[\frac{ y _{1}^{} - y _{2}^{ } }{ x _{1}^{ } - x _{2}^{ } }\] So pick 2 points, (easiest would be the intercepts and plug them in. So the line intercepts at points: -3, 0 being the first x and y and 0, 5 being the second x and y So plug those in \[\frac{ 0 - 5 }{ -3 - 0 }\] And solve.

I didn't use a calculator, would it be -5/-3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

going from point -3 to point five. I just counted you up 5 and over three so it would be 5/3 or -5/3 depending at which point you start
