Dr. Fisher wants to know whether an infant can tell the difference between a human face and a monkey face. Describe the methods that she should use to test this question. Be sure to state what the infants are exposed to, as well as what response is measured.
have you read the lesson it came with?
its a quiz
oh okay.. um do you have notes written down with the formulas and all that? that can really help because i dont just wanna give the answer because thats not gonna get you any where
well does it have to do anything with habituation tasks?
sort of yea, because its dealing with the baby and being able to tell the difference of things, its also dealing with the adolescences mind.
an how it works
well thats what im confuse about because I dont know how it works
well a baby's mind works a little differently then a child because there mind has not grown all the way meaning it has not been fully intrigued with things, however the baby can recognize its parents and maybe there siblings if they have any, and over time a baby's and child's mind grow and they are able to identify things more.
would the violation of expectation task work to ?
in some forms yes it would, for this i would say you could try it
what does the question actually asking do i just explain what they mean?
it wants you to describe the method meaning it wants you to say i think you would you this method because.. and then state why it is also asking what the infants are exposed to meaning what can they identify
so do i explain both the methods?
yes
would i explain it the way you did?
yes but use the more technical terms
was this your answer you had?
