HELP ME!!! I WILL FAN and MEDAL!!!!! 1.Find a wheelchair ramp either online or in your community. You can take a picture of one (state where your wheelchair ramp is from) and paste it in your portfolio. If you find one online, make sure to cite from where you are taking the picture. 2.Sketch over the right triangle formed from your wheelchair ramp and the ground. Include the lengths of each side of the triangle in your sketch.

@sleepyjess
Ok, do you know the length of that ramp?
No
Would I measure in inches or centimeters
I think it wants an actual ramp.... in real life that you found....
It said you can find one online and use that
I guess inches?
11 1/2 in centimeters & 4 1/2 inches
cm would probably work better looking at the height
ok so use centimeters for everything right?
Yep
Ok so when I measure length it's 11 1/2 centimeters For the height do I measure the space between the ground and the ramp or from the ramp to the rails
I feel like this would be easier with a different ramp since that picture is taken at an angle. How is this one? http://prntscr.com/60894s
Ok we can use this one instead
Which one?
the one you provided
Yeah, that one is probably easier
Ok so The length is 15 centimeters and the height is 1 1/2 centimeters
@sleepyjess
What do I do now?
15
is that right?
Wait, did you measure the ramp on the red or blue line? http://prntscr.com/608g53
the blue there was no red
Do i measure on the blue or red
Blue Line: 12 1/2 Red Line: 14 1/2
Ok, you should have measured the blue
Centimeters
use the blue line
sorry, I am making myself all confused lol
it's fine
The red line is about 12 centimeters long for the pic you just provided me
The blue line for the picture before the one you just gave me is 12 1/2 centimeters
@sleepyjess
Thank You! There is more to this problem if you are willing to help!
1.Use the Converse of the Pythagorean Theorem to verify that the measurements of your wheelchair ramp are consistent with those of a right triangle (Hint: Show that ). Show all work. If the measurements are not consistent, explain why you think this may be. 2 22 c = + a b
