When the law of conservation of energy is applied to heat, it is known as the _____ law of thermodynamics. zeroth first second third

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

What do you think it is??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first? @KendrickLamar2014

OpenStudy (kendricklamar2014):

I was thinking first or second, but maybe leaning to first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thnx

You'r Welcome :)

First law - Energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Second law - The entropy of a system will increase over time. Third law - As temperature goes towards absolute zero, the entropy of the system approaches a constant minimum. Zeroth law states - "If two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal equilibrium with a third, then they are in thermal equilibrium with each other" Thus, I'd say it's the zeroth law when it's applied to thermal energy exchanges.
