What problem will you encounter if you tried using the redox titration method using potassium permanganate to oxidize ferrous gluconate

the gluconate is also oxidized on top of the iron (II). Because the gluconate also uses up the the permanganate, this messes up your measurements because the amount of permanganate being used is higher than the actual required amount. For this question I assumed that you try to quantify the amount of iron II in the solution

yeah you're trying to find the concentration of iron by redox titrration right? This only works if the iron is the only thing that's being oxidized. In this case it's not, the gluconate is also being oxidized, so it interferes with your measurements
