Atoms have a tendency to complete their outer energy level. This is known as _____. decomposition synthesis the octet rule the rule of electrons
@iGreen
synthesis
yeeeep its synthesis
@kendallcrider
thanks guys
What do you people not get by NO DIRECT RESPONSES!!!!
At least explain it to them...
why don't you @YOLO_KING
The answer is octet
explain
the octet rule Wants another electron Needs to be neutral Needs an ionic bond Needs cations; anions So on so on... -2 covalent hydrogen bonding and in addition synthesis means "To produce substance by combining chemical precursors "
Synthesis is the wrong answer pal its The octet rule.
thats why i say better use google than get direct answers .... that are in this case... wrong #_#
octet rule is correct as @YOLO_KING said an atom that does not have complete octet at its last shell meaning less than 8 electrons are there the atom tends to want to fill it to 8 to reach noble state so some atoms want to lose their electron (usually atoms having from 1-3 electrons in their last shell) and some what to gain more electrons to reach that octet state (usually atoms having 5-7 electrons) and special group atoms having 4 electrons in their last shell tend to either gain or lose electrons to reach octet state bottom line they use different bondings to reach that state, some prefer ionic, some covalent etc
