How to calculate molar mass?

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Have a specific example?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Oh wait nvm! I found a website that can help me! :)

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

They can give you any compound/element. Let's say it was 3CO2 This means that there is 3 carbons, and 6 oxygens. Go goto your periodic table, look at carbon and you see that it's mass is 12, and that oxygen is 16. Multiply it accordingly.. (12 x 3) +(16 x 6)=132 g/mol
