I need help using the right law and how to set up this problem... PLEASE HELP <3 How many grams nitrogen (N2) gas are required to fill a 2.6L balloon at standard pressure and 310K?

OpenStudy (matt101):

For standard pressure we're probably talking about 100 kPa. You have the volume and temperature given in the question, so you just need to select the gas constant (R) that uses the appropriate units. Then you can solve for the MOLES of N2 using PV=nRT. But you want mass (grams), not number (moles), so you need to do a quick conversion using n = m/MM, where MM is the molar mass of N2. Hope that helps!
