Describe, in detail, how to make 3.0 liters of a 0.98 molar HCl solution from a 10.5 molar HCl stock solution.

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

@shrutipande9 , can you help meh? pwease

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

u have to do C1V1=CV2 for eg 10.5 molar HCl------------- take x ml to make 0.98 molar HCl------------- 3lits(3000ml) cross multiplication\[\frac{ 10.5 * 3000 }{ 0.98 }\]

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

:O is that all?

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

no something is wrong...wait..

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

no this is direct variation... so \[\frac{ 0.98 * 3000 }{ 10.5 }\]

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

i think i am right..>.<

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

i am right..:D
