an ideal gas is enclosed in a container of volume V at pressure p. It is being pumped out of the container by using a pump with stroke volume v. what is the final pressure in the container after n stroke of the pump?

Hmm let's see...I forgot how to do this but let me try.. before: P, V after n-stroke: \(\sf P_f, V-nv\) Temperature constant: PV=constant ideal gas equation is PV=vRT so \(\sf PV= P_f(V-nv)\) then... manipulate... manipulate... that will be.....\(\sf \large P_f=\frac{PV}{V-nv}\) ta-da! :)
