A) One mole of MgCl2 formula units you will have 6.02 x10^23 units formula, then if you divide the 1.81 x 10 ^24 by 6.02 x10^23 you will have the number of moles of MgCl2 formulas units. B) for each formula unit of MgCl2 you will have 2 moles of Cl then in 1.81 x 20^24 formulas. Then if you multiply the value calculate in A) by 2 you will get the number of moles of Cl atoms
