Consider a sample of excited atoms that lie 3.077 × 10–19 J above the ground state. Determine the emission wavelength (in nanometers) of these atoms.

The excited electrons release photons of that energy when they relax back to ground state. To solve this you would use the same formula as in the previous question: \(\sf E_{photon}=\dfrac{hc}{\lambda}\)
