I am doing a chemistry experiment investigating the rates of reaction between sodium thiosulfate and hydrochloric acid. Have been asked to make improvements to the temperature and concentration. Any ideas please

OpenStudy (jfraser):

if you're studying rates, then you should alter the starting concentrations of one reactant or the other and see what effect it has on the overall rate. You can also change the temperature by keeping the reaction mixture in an ice bath or a warm water bath to effect the rate as well

Also you should make sure thtat there is few or no ventilation in the room and put the mixtures in polystere cups to prevent heat loss and improve in your accurate reading of temperature.
