here are the questions.. \ 1: Explain how one isotope of Carbon differs from another (or one isotope of any element for that matter). (2pts.) 2: Explain why Group 2 elements tend to form +2 ions. (2 pts.) 3:Locate Lithium and oxygen on the periodic table. Briefly explain how these elements might combine to form a compound. (3 pts.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the different in all isotope are going to be the neutrons because that what makes the elament an element

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the secont one is set up as extra positive electrons thats are stuck tryingto find its way out of the element, or try to find its way to another element that needs it it usally happends when that element loses two -electrons.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the thrd one i have know clue about sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its okay i appreciate the help with the two :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ur welcome, and eny time ;)

OpenStudy (somy):

third one the q is asking u if Li and O would make a bond what kind would it be? covalent? share electrons? ionic? give/take electrons?

OpenStudy (somy):

hint: usually bonds between metals & non metals is ionic and bonds between nonmetals and nonmetals is covalent
