How many liters from a 18.0 M H2SO4 stock bottle is required to make 8.63 L of 6.00 M H2SO4?

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Just remember that L1 x m1=L2 x m2 the molarity and volume (in this case liters) are proportionate

A really helpful formula I would use for this would be MV=m (M=molarity, V=volume, and m=moles -- it would usually be a script m for moles but just bare with me lol) You could easily manipulate this formula to find Volume of your 6 molar.

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Good work @heathred @cest_moi do you understand the explanations?

@dtan5457 Thanks, could you check out my question, I've been stuck for days :/
