Why do chemical reactions not produce radioactive particles? Chemical reactions make the nuclei of atoms more stable. Chemical reactions only release gamma rays. Only electrons are involved in chemical reactions. Mass is not conserved in chemical reactions.
i think its the 3rd one :)))
A) Chemical reactions make the nuclei of atoms more stable.
close tho
but it's A
alright 1 sec im about to submit my exam :)
medal please
thsi question was wrong
oh so you had the wrong question
no the answer you gave me lol
how
it just told me i got it wrong it didnt say why
Radioactive particles are the result of nuclear reactions. Chemical reactions don't involve the nucleus of an atom, but only the electron cloud. so.... c) Only electrons are involved in chemical reactions.
this is correct
medal please
that's what i thought, next time please double check
ok
thanks for the medal
do you have any more
medal for me bc i got it right :) and no.. i am done with the exam
ok
Radioactive decay is a type of a chemical reaction. It is a decomposition reaction.
Oh, sorry, forgot that nuclear chemistry is frequently left out in intro classes. My guess is you are studying classical chemistry that does not deal with radioactive reactions.
