Can someone please help as I don't understand this problem??? How many liters of chlorine gas, at standard temperature and pressure, will react with 15.5 grams of potassium metal? Show all of the work used to solve this problem. 2 K + Cl2 yields 2 KCl

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Know that volume in STP, is 22.4 liters per mole

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

SO get the amount of moles of potassium from 15.5 grams

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

Divide by 2, since there is two moles of potassium and one mole of chlorine, and multiply by 22.4
