Suppose that for the reaction: 2N2O + O2 -> 4NO it is determined, at a particular temperature, and the equilibrium concentrations are found to be [NO] = 0.00341M, [N2O] = 0.0293M, [O2] = 0.0325M. Calculate the value of K for the reaction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

U mean equilibrium constant? kc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Kc is molar concentration of reactants divided by molar concentration of products.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2*(0.0293)*(0.0325)/4*(0.0031)=1.53*10^-1

OpenStudy (jfraser):

@areebah the equilibrium expression is products over reactants, and you forgot to raise the concentrations by the stoichiometric coefficients

Oopsiie... My bad . :) i by mistakenly wrote rectants over products , though it is vice versa
