Electronegativity is the capacity to attract an electron. The lower the number of orbitals of an element is, the greater the electronegativity, because it means its structure is very approximated to the nucleus, which is positively charged, ready to attract an electron. As we o down the group, the atomic size increases. Hence Berylium should be the answer as it is the smallest atom.
