Don't know if you've figured this out, but'll add a few cents in case you haven't. For f(x), the table grows very quickly, so my question is what number could you raise to an exponent such that \[f(x=1) = 5\] \[f(x=2) = 25\] \[f(x=3)=125\] ie, n^1 = 5 n^2 = 25 n^3 = 135 And then for g(x), since it never changes, we can say that \[g(x) = -3\] independent of the value of x. Hope that helps ^_^
