what buffers are you talking about?

I'm not too sure. I think it may be between the phosphoric acid or dihydrogen phosphate buffer.

okay. i was thinking they would give you molarities but i guess it's not needed since one will function better at quenching acids while the other at quenching bases. It seems logical that the phosphoric acid buffer will quench more base than acid and the dihydrogen buffer will quench more acid than base.
