For a regular 20-sided polygon, what is the degree of rotation?
@e.mccormick
That question does not make sense to me.
@dtan5457
See, rotation is something you would have a set value for. I no of no reason why it would be associated with a polygon. To me, it just sounds incomplete.
@e.mccormick This is what someone else said. http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/5513530ee4b0786eccf3ff4a @TheSmartOne @mathlover1011111 @ParthKohli @paki @dtan5457 Can any of you please help?
I think dividing 360 by 20 gives the degree of rotation \[\large \dfrac{360}{20}\]
^^^
@rational @Compassionate So how would I type that into this?
360/20 = ?
|dw:1427346480591:dw|
18? I would type in 18? @rational
@rational @perl @TheSmartOne
Well if you follow what they said above, the answer would be 18. But I am not sure if it is correct.
It is, I just submitted it. :) Thanks for the help!
Wohoo! :) Thanks to @rational :)
what is the degree of rotation that makes the polygon congruent (in orientation)
