Trigonometry 18 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you solve cotx=cscx/secx

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Cos/sin = (1/sin)/(1/cos) Can you solve from here?? If not, I can help you more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i cannot, please help!

OpenStudy (utterly_confuzzled):

Okay, from there, (1/sin)/(1/cos) becomes (sin/cos) (Cos/sin) =(sin/cos) (Cos/sin)/(sin/cos) = (cos/sin)(cos/sin) = cot^2 I'm pretty sure that's right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, thank you for the help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is simpler than that although you are doing the same you have to show one side equals the other so keep to one side right side csc/sec =1/sin /(1/cos) =cos/sin =cot
