A golf ball mass of 0.045kg is hit off the tee at a speed of 38m/s. The golf club was in contact with the ball for 3.90*10^-3 s. a) Find the impulse imparted to the golf ball. b) Find the average force exerted on the ball by the golf club.

For part a), the impulse (left side of the equation) equals the change in momentum \[\color{green}{\vec{F}\Delta t = m \Delta \vec{v}}\]
So, that would be the normal force mgt=mv (0.045kg)(9.8m/s)93.90*10^-3s)=(0.045kg)(38m/s)
