OpenStudy (tywower):

Explain why the quantum number set (2, 1, -2, -½) is not possible for an electron in an atom. EVERYONE I NEED A LOT OF HELP ON THISS

OpenStudy (jfraser):

the third QN in this set violates one of the rules. Do you know what the rules are for filling quantum numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Apart from that, there is no such thing as negative values when it comes to quantum numbers.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

@hoslos yes there are, but the rules must still be followed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right.
