help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eddie experimented to find out which freezes at a lower temperature, distilled water or salt water. The steps he used in his experiment are shown below. Fill one beaker with 250 mL of room-temperature distilled water Fill another beaker with 250 mL of room-temperature salt water Measure the mass of the liquid in both beakers Place both beakers in a freezer Observe the temperature at which the liquids freeze Which of the steps in Eddie's experiment was NOT needed? 2 3 4 1

i will medal and fan!

OpenStudy (aaronq):

Measuring the mass is not really necessary because you're set to a specific volume by using the 250 mL beakers.

OpenStudy (aaronq):

It would be relevant if the experiment was set to determine how much salt concentration affected the freezing temperature

I was thinking C or B

OpenStudy (aaronq):

I think its' "Measure the mass of the liquid in both beakers"

Your right!

Thank you!

sweeet, no problem !
