***** Chemistry Medal for HELP ***** A sample of oxygen gas has a volume of 150 mL with a pressure of 0.947 atm. What will the volume be if pressure is increased to 770 torr? Select one: a. 158 mL b. 141 mL c. 100 mL d. 0.18 mL I'm unsure how you solve this problem, but I would be forever thankful if someone would be willing to help me. Thanks in advance. :)

Someone asked the exact same question yesterday... First of all, you want your pressure units to be consistent. Either convert 0.947 atm to torr or vice versa. 0.947 atm=719.72 torr now use boyle's law v1p1=v2pw (150ml)(719.72 torr)=(770 torr)(v2) solve for v2

Thanks, bruh. @dtan5457 My chemistry class has a study guide that's really hard to understand, so maybe it was somebody from there?

OpenStudy (dtan5457):

lol, not sure, it doesn't really matter though. Are you able to finish this question?

Yea, thanks!
